New improved recipe with added Verm-X¶¶Supreme JUNIOR AND DWARF RABBIT MIX is a fibrous, nutritious and wholesome blend of steam flaked peas, carrots, cereals, pellets, extrusions & herbs - supplying your rabbit with a tasty, healthy food in a variety of textures to encourage your rabbit’s natural foraging instinct.¶Feeding the correct diet to your rabbit is essential for maintaining good health. Rabbits require high fibre levels in their diet to aid normal digestive function and aid essential dental wear.¶¶Mr Johnson’s Supreme JUNIOR AND DWARF RABBIT MIX rabbit food is a complementary feed for junior & dwarf rabbits in particular and should be fed together with unlimited access to good quality hay which is a good source of fibre and an essential part of your rabbit’s diet. A small quantity of fresh greens should also be fed daily and fresh clean water should always be available.¶ ¶Overcoming selective feeding:¶Rabbits, if overfed, can sometimes selectively feed and may leave their less favourite ingredients in the bowl until last, resulting in an unbalanced diet and nutritional deficiency.¶To help overcome selective feeding your rabbit should be fed twice a day, dividing their daily requirements into two meals, feeding morning and evening but only refilling the bowl once empty.¶Changing your rabbits diet:¶Your rabbit’s diet should never be altered suddenly as abrupt changes could trigger digestive upsets, especially in baby rabbits or rabbits that are stressed (for example if they have moved to a new home). If you want to alter your rabbit’s diet, it is recommended that this change takes place gradually over a 7-10 day period. This can be done by mixing small quantities of the new food with their existing food and increasing the proportions until it is fully changed over.¶Feeding Guide:¶This feeding advice is a guide only. ¶Mr Johnson’s Supreme junior & dwarf rabbit feeding guide: ¶Rabbit size Quantity¶Small (0.5 – 1kg) 20 to 50gr/day;¶Medium (1-2.5kg) 50 to 75gr/day¶Lactating rabbits should have access to unlimited food.¶This is a guide only.¶A rabbit's diet should be made up of a high proportion of fresh clean hay an essential fibre source and mimics their natural diet in the wild. This should be fed along with Supreme junior & dwarf rabbit mix to ensure rabbits receive a balanced diet that meets their dietary needs.¶Composition:¶Flaked steamed peas, concentrate pellets (wheatfeed, sunflower extract, straw, sugar beet, calcium carbonate, molasses, grassmeal, sodium chloride, vegetable oil, vitamin & trace element premix, dicalcium phosphate), flaked barley, flaked maize, locust bean extrusions, wheat extrusions, dried carrot, Lucerne, Verm-X blend, Soya oil.¶Nutritional Additives:¶Vitamin A (E672) 10,000iu/kg; Vitamin D (E671) 1,000iu/kg; Vitamin E 62.5iu/kg; Copper (E4) 12.5mg/kg¶Analytical Constituents¶Crude protein 15.00%; Crude fibre 10.00%; Crude oils & fats 3.00%; Crude ash 4.00%; Calcium 0.90%; Sodium 0.20%; Phosphorous 0.20%¶Summary:¶Available in 900g, 2.25kg & 15kg bags
